Appearing in our “number two” spot for sexiest redhead characters is the lovely, Black Widow, who made her first appearance in the blockbuster movie, Iron Man 2. Played by the gorgeous Scarlett Johansson, Black Widow (who is sometimes referred to by her alias, Natalia Alianovna Romanoff) is portrayed in the series as a well-trained (and extremely dangerous) spy/assassin who became a key figure in the establishment of the Avengers. Spending much of her early life training with military hardware and equipment, Black Widow was later recruited by the KGB (before the fall of the Soviet Union), but later defected to S.H.I.E.L.D. with the help of Clint Barton. Characterized as extremely intelligent, resourceful, and fearless in her disposition, Black Widow possesses an unparalleled expertise in the realm of martial arts and field weaponry, making her one of the most skilled and highly-trained members of the Avengers group.

In terms of her physical appearance and traits, Black Widow is an absolutely gorgeous character renowned for her shoulder-length red hair, bright green eyes, and athletic figure. Played by the stunning Milla Jovovich, Leeloo is portrayed in the series as a “Supreme Being” that has been tasked with travelling to Earth in order to uncover an ancient weapon that was developed for the purpose of destroying the “Great Evil.” Characterized as the “ultimate human,” Leeloo’s quest eventually brings her into contact with taxicab driver, Korben Dallas, who eventually helps her to recover the weapon’s four main components. By combining the four parts (stones) with Leeloo (who serves as the “Fifth Element” to the weapon), the pair are able to defeat the Great Evil before it can be unleashed on Earth.

Regarding her physical qualities and appearance, Leeloo is an absolutely gorgeous woman renowned for her reddish-orange hair, light green eyes, and virtually flawless figure. Standing 5’9” in height and weighing nearly 130 pounds, Leeloo is both tall and well-proportioned for her stature, with near-perfect measurements in the range of 35-25-34, respectively. Some of her most notable features include B-cup breasts, long (and well-toned legs), a short waist, and well-rounded butt. In the movie, Rose is seen returning to America aboard the RMS Titanic with her fiancé, Caldeon Hockley, where she inadvertently falls in love with third-class passenger (and artist), Jack Dawson. Stepping out of her well-to-do lifestyle to be with Jack (and experience all that love has to offer), the two fall madly in love with one another before tragedy strikes only a few days later (when Titanic is sunk by an enormous iceberg in the North Atlantic). Clinging aboard wreckage from the ship, Jack helps Rose escape death by propping her on a wooden door, giving up his life so that Rose may live.

Regarding her outward appearance and traits, Rose DeWitt Bukater is a remarkably attractive woman renowned for her curly red hair, emerald-green eyes, and stunning body. Appearing next in our list of sexiest redhead characters is the beautiful, Jessica Hamby, who made her first appearance in the hit television series, True Blood. Played by the lovely Deborah Ann Woll, Jessica is portrayed in the series as a vampire and protégé of Bill Campton (the infamous “Vampire King of Louisiana”). Despite being transformed into a vampire in 2009, Jessica continued to maintain a strong sense of morality and “humanity” due to her strong Christian upbringing. This showcased itself time and again in the series as she expressed great remorse over the human victims she was forced to kill (trueblood.fandom.com). After later becoming a proponent of the “Mainstreaming Cause,” Hamby was last seen marrying Hoyt Fortenberry (despite the fact that he was fully human).

Concerning her outward appearance and attributes, Jessica Hamby is an exceptionally hot and attractive redhead that is renowned for her powder blue eyes and absolutely stunning figure. Standing 5’10” in height and weighing nearly 130 pounds, Jessica is both tall and curvaceous for her build, with measurements approaching 37-25-38, respectively. Beginning our list of sexiest redhead characters is the lovely, Dana Scully, who first appeared in the hit television series, The X-Files. Played by the gorgeous Gillian Anderson, Dana is portrayed in the series as an FBI Special Agent and medical doctor who was assigned to the “X-Files” unit in order to monitor the bureau’s infamous Fox Mulder. Although she was originally sent to Mulder for the purpose of debunking and disproving his long-held theories, Scully eventually developed a deep-rooted sense of respect, trust, and admiration for Mulder as the pair investigated a number of mysterious cases together throughout their career. Sadly, the X-Files were later closed by the FBI, however, prompting the pair to pursue their cases in a more covert and roundabout manner.

Physical Appearance

In terms of her physical appearance and attributes, Dana Scully is a remarkably attractive woman renowned for her beautiful red hair, baby blue eyes, and voluptuous figure. Standing 5’3” in height and weighing nearly 123 pounds, Dana is both small and curvy for her overall build, with measurements in the range of 35-26-36, respectively. Apart from her large C-cup bust, some of Dana’s most recognizable features include wide-spaced hips, a large butt, and thin waist. Anyone who doesn't have an enormous amount of respect and amusement for a story about an evil wizard/swordsman named Dark Schneider, who was killed 10 years ago and has been living in the body of a little boy ever since-- and who casts spells which seem to be named after 1980's hair bands (depending on who translated your rental copy)-- just is never going to get what "Anime" is all about.

Two animated thumbs up. I laughed, I cried, I fell out of my chair.

Anime purists may be annoyed that I didn't get every single fact or term right in that first paragraph, but while I may not be the biggest Anime freak in the world, it's just a testament to the greatness of "Bastard" that I love the thing so much, and wish more scripts-- animated or not-- could have this great a sense of humor, mixed with this amount of raw testosterone. Mm, baby.

Vote early, vote often. 10/10.

Aoi Aoi Ano Sora

Amidst of all the art talk, I never expected the direction of this anime nor did I expect to be moved by it this much. Even though it's ironic that the animation was pretty mediocre for an art anime, the masterful character odyssey more than made up for it.

The main characters were high school students who were trying to get into art schools. Through the process of learning about art, each one faced their own struggle in trying to figure out who they are. Again the theme of identity vs role confusion was at the forefront. The journeys that were displayed all led to another common theme that resonated more with me: self-doubt. Our main guy, Yaguchi, constantly felt insecure about himself. Multiple times I can't help but reflect on myself, and it didn't feel so comfortable.

Another aspect was the difference between hard-work, innate talent, and the expectation that came with each label. The character Yotasuke brought out this theme the most. Sometimes being labeled as having talent or already good at something doesn't feel as satisfying as expected.

Overall, an unexpectedly dark, personal, yet satisfying exploration that I never thought I would love so much. 9-9.5/10.

I have been the biggest Buffy fan since the show first appeared on BBC 2. Not having sky I was
a little behind and when BBC eventually stopped showing it I had to wait for the original VHS
boxsets to be released to watch them all. I had gradually started buying the DVD versions but had
always wanted a complete collection with 1-7 but they were always so damn expensive! Then I saw this
one for just £50 so I sold the few seasons I had and invested in this because it is very good value for
money. The show is awesome, if you disagree, then why are you reading these reviews. I'm not going to
go into lots of details about the show, everybody else has. I am going to talk specifically about this edition
of the Buffy boxset season 1-7 in NEW PACKAGING released in Oct 2011.

1. Great value for money. Even if I hadn't sold the seasons I had for £15 it still would've been a steal.
To get all 7 seasons with bonus features in a neat little package for £50, bargain :)
2. I haven't played all the discs yet but I randomly selected 2 discs from each season to test them. They play
just fine. Picture quality is very good as is sound. I wanted to see if there were any problems as it will take me
while to watch them all. I had no problems and am assuming all the discs are ok.
3. This boxset is nice and compact. Previous ones have been un-necessarily large and I wanted something that
wouldn't take up too much space. This takes up no more room on a shelf than 7 regular dvds.

I have given this 5* but there is a couple of things to mention that some people may not like but I didn't feel
they were worth deducting a star in the review.
1. The 7 seasons are each in a normal sized dvd case which are absolutely fine, there are only pictures of Buffy
on them and not of other cast members like on other versions of the boxsets, this doesn't bother me as I bought
it to watch the dvds, not look at the pictures on the cases. I like the new designs and each image on the front
of each season will have meaning to avid Buffy fans! But some people may prefer other versions and the picture
Amazon has put up doesn't necessarily show this.
2. The outer box that the 7 seasons are kept in is incredibly flimsy. The cardboard used is really just very thick
paper and mine had a little bit of damage when it was delivered. Which probably happened during transit. The corners
already look a little scruffy and I've barely touched it. I can't imagine as it is the box will last very long and
it's nice to have the whole 7 seasons in one box. I have taken to the inside of the box with selotape to reinforce it
somewhat and will be asking for help reinforcing it some more from my sister, who is very good at things like that, when
she visits. Until then I am treating it with kid gloves. This did bother me a little. I recently bought Supernatural
season 1-5 and it was cheaper and the box it came in was much stronger and better made and will last a lot longer.
I think the new packaging could have come in a stronger box without it increasing the manufacturing costs very much
at all. And as the retail price is low, most people would've probably happily paid a small amount more to get something
of slightly better quality. Howver this does not effect the discs which are obviously the most important part.
If the box ends up knackered, it isn't the end of the world.
3. There are no episode guides or lists of the episodes in any of the seasons. When you play a disc you can see which
episodes are on it but there is not a list on the case that says which episodes are on which disc and unless you have the
episode names and numbers memorised if you wanted to play a specific episode and wern't sure where abouts in the season
it was it may take a couple of tries to put the correct disc in! Now I get that they didn't include episode guide
booklets to probably keep the cost down? But again, it wouldn't have been difficult to have a list on the inside
cover that said Disc 1 and then a list of the episodes, disc 2 ect. As I watch the sets I plan to make a little list
for each season and put it in the case myself so in future if I just want to watch one episode it will be easier to
find. This again is not a big issue to me, but it's pretty standard to have a list like that!
4. Back to episode guides. I have watched Buffy so many times that I know what the episode is just by the name and don't need a description. Also I have the 3 Buffy official season guide books that have detailed descriptions of all the
episodes if I need them any way so I do not mind one bit not having them in the boxset. If you are less familiar and are looking for an episode but can't remember the name of it then an episode guide would be useful and the lack of one may be more of a problem.

So yes there are a few little issues with the design. Probably the worst one to me is the box, it's a bit pathetic really!!
But not why I bought the set so I'm letting it go, and enjoying the episodes for their amazingness. I couldn't justify deducting a star for my nit picking but others may find these flaws more of an issue and the description on line doesn't mention any of these things. For what I paid this was excellent value, I finally have all 7 seasons to watch and re-watch to my hearts content. If you are really interested in owning Buffy then this is exactly what you are looking for, but the box may not make it passed its 1st birthday!

Background

The lovely Lola Bunny is a Looney Tunes character that made her debut in the comedy film, Space Jam (1996). In the movie, Lola was characterized as female rabbit whose basketball skills earn her a key spot on the Tune Squad. With help from Michael Jordan, Lola and the rest of the Tune Squad wage a nail-biting basketball match against the villainous Monstars, earning their freedom from perpetual enslavement on Moron Mountain with their unexpected victory. By the end of the movie, Lola eventually accepts the numerous advances made by Bugs Bunny, becoming his girlfriend once she recognizes that his affection for her is genuine.

Personality and Appearance

Throughout her appearances, Lola Bunny can be best-described as a combination of “tomboy” and “femme fatale” in her overall personality. She is a tough-talking woman, with a no-nonsense attitude towards life. Likewise, she is extremely independent-minded, with a self-reliant attitude towards work and her day-to-day affairs. And while she can be incredibly seductive in her behavior, Lola can just as easily turn off the charm when she finds certain reactions to be offensive or derogatory. This is seen with her extreme distaste for the term “doll,” which she is known to react violently to.

Regarding her overall appearance, Lola Bunny is a true “sex symbol” in every sense of the phrase. Renowned for her tan fur, blonde bangs, and athletic build, many have described her as the cartoon version of the beautiful Anna Nicole Smith (looneytunes.fandom.com). Lola is also incredibly curvaceous, and possesses wide hips, a large bust, and slim waist. When combined with her seductive blue eyes, pretty face, and provocative attire (which often includes tight shorts and high-cut tops), it is not difficult to see why Lola Bunny earned our number four spot for sexiest cartoon characters.
