Making full use of her powers, Helen (Elastigirl) and her family play a major role in the defeat of these enemies, saving humanity and their family from the forces of evil.

Throughout The Incredibles (and its sequel), Helen Parr can be best-described as a highly-opinionated, intelligent, and snarky individual. She cares greatly for her loved ones and humanity (in general), and is never one to back down from a potential fight. This is especially true when it involves would-be aggressors seeking to do harm against the innocent. In spite of these positive attributes, Helen is renowned in the series for her propensity towards angry outbursts. This tendency to become flustered owes greatly to her years as a mother, which have taken their toll on her emotionally. Nevertheless, she is generally seen as even-tempered in the movies as she attempts to remain her composure in the darkest of moments.
