Now, we have a dangerous diva. Revy is the sexy and merciless mercenary from the ‘Black Lagoon’ anime series. She wears unbuttoned jeans which are cut off to resemble shorts. A black crop-top covers her upper body revealing her navel. She sports a ponytail with bangs on her forehead. She has a tan complexion. Not much is known about her past or how she ended in Roanapur, where the anime is set. If you make one wrong move against her, you will be dead.

Powers and Abilities

The beautiful Ling Xiaoyu is a fictional character that first appeared in the hit video game, Tekken 3. Characterized as a lover of amusement parks, Xiaoyu was first seen in the series on vacation with her family in Hong Kong, where she decides to stow away on a yacht bearing the name, “Mishima Financial Empire.” Seeking out the president of Mishima Estate (a man by the name of Heihachi), young Xiaoyu gets the CEO’s attention by taking out all of his men aboard the boat. Upon his arrival, she threatens to go berserk, once more, unless he makes her dream a reality (of creating her very own theme park). Stunned by her insolence, Heihachi accepts her challenge, making her a ward of the Mishima Zaibatsu and promising to build her the amusement park of her dreams if she can win the Tekken tournaments.

Throughout the Tekken series, Ling Xiaoyu is an incredibly gifted fighter in the realm of Chinese martial arts, relying heavily on the Baguazhang and Piguaquan fighting styles, respectively. These styles focus heavily on speed, evasion, spins, and flips to keep opponents guessing. Although these techniques are not necessarily powerful (in regard to the amount of damage they inflict), they provide Xiaoyu with a tremendous combo potential that allows her to maintain an offensive posture throughout the duration of matches. As such, she is an incredibly formidable opponent in the fighting ring; however, she is not well-suited for beginner’s due to the amount of time it takes to master her combos.

Personality and Appearance

Ling Xiaoyu can be best-described as both an innocent and cheerful girl. Due to her younger age in the series, she is also quite naïve (despite her unwavering sense of determination), and can display incredibly immature and childish antics on occasion. Nevertheless, Xiaoyu is also extremely dedicated and loyal to those she cares about, which is detrimental to her well-being (in some cases) as she overlooks the truly nasty and devious nature of her so-called friends.

Regarding her overall appearance, Ling Xiaoyu is an incredibly attractive woman renowned for her soft facial features, black hair, and dark brown eyes. Sporting twin pigtails and side-parted bangs, Xiaoyu also tends to wear form-fitting attire that leaves little to the imagination regarding her various curves. Combined with her long legs, slim/athletic body, as well as her lovable personality, Ling Xiaoyu is easily one of the hottest characters to have made an appearance in the Tekken series.

Not only are these routines for all shapes and sizes – they also work for both men and women – regardless of the gender of the hero.

I'm an attack on titan fan and even I have to admit that it's a really good show...the animation from ufotable is just absolutely brilliant and beats most anime and all animated shows around the planet. I admit, the storyline of demon slayer isn't anything new, some people say it's an overrated show, some say it's cliche...and that's ok...why???...because every single person is entitled to their own opinion...the criticisms might be true but I will say this...there's a reason why this anime is so popular and there's a reason why so many people not only in Japan but around the world enjoy it. Not every single anime or TV show has to have a plot twist of a story like attack on titan or Vinland saga, as long as its entertaining and enjoyable for everyone to enjoy then really thats all that matters. Demon slayer is a good show and I would highly recommend it to anyone especially people who aren't anime watchers, it's incredible.

I believe fans of the show will appreciate the fleshed out aspect of floor 1 in this movie. Had some really good laughs and some really awesome animation. Can't wait for the next one.

I started watching this series thinking that it'll be rom com anime but it is much more than that. We might feel really weird watching this because our logic won't be able to keep up with it but as it progresses we can understand the message the series is trying to convey. It deals with high school bullying and the herd mentality of people. The story is about a high school boy Sakuta who falls in love with a senior girl Mai. Soon Sakuta finds that Mai is also going through the conditions that he once went through. So he decides to help her and they develop strong feelings for each other while dealing their problems together.

Overall it is a good series to watch, but remember that this is not a science fiction(though may feel like one). So enjoy watching it with a open heart and mind.

This anime is from the director of cowboy bebop and samurai champloo, so I watch this with high expectations. Although it may appear to be more slow with its slice of life tone in a futuristic world. For a sci fi anime, the story is easy to follow. Its about two girls who share a love through music. They write and create their own music in a world where A.I. created music is the norm. They go through a music competition and more characters are introduced. Almost paroding America's got Talent with its unique and comical characters. Unlike most idol anime, there's no cheesy fan service and the animation is fluid. The soundtrack is phenomenal and attracts its western audience with its English songs in different genres of music.

I expected no more than a cheesy drama but I was so wrong, i totally related with the girl and the lesson taught was actually pretty human (talking about a movie with a cat huh? Lol), it's beautiful not only with the plot but visually stunning it certainly is, give it a chance, it's totally worth it.

Violet Evergarden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll is a continuation of the 2018 anime series Violet Evergarden. Its titular character is a former soldier who lost both of her hands in the war but is now nevertheless pursuing a career as an auto memory doll, a ghost writer slash typist slash secretary for hire.

The good things of the series carry to this movie as well. First of all, it's crazily good-looking. The animation is at times so beautiful that it honestly becomes a bit distracting. I found myself missing lines because I was admiring the details. Likewise here. And it's actually quite rare that a movie version of an anime doesn't look better, but here I'd say they're about even. That's definitely more of a compliment towards the anime than it is a flaw on the movie's part.

Furthermore, the story also fits nicely with what we've seen in the anime. This could have been a two-parter in the series itself. It's sweet, heartfelt, at times really sad and filled with melancholy, but in the end optimistic and looking hopefully towards the future. Everything that made the anime so great.

That being said, it can feel a bit padded. You'd have hoped that if they were going to make a movie, they would have chosen a storyline that would have better served its length. Still, that's pretty much the only disappointing thing about this film.

If you liked the anime series, then this is definitely worth a watch. As a standalone film... I think it actually might be a bit hard to follow. Not recommended.

Violet Evergarden is in my mind some of the best anime ever made. It's not for everyone. It's a slow-burner and very emotional. This movie is even moreso, with parts of it admittedly a bit too over the top in the emotional aspect. Yet it holds true to the story and has a very nice ending (be sure to watch to the end of the credits).

Before watching this movie I recommend watching the Evergarden series and the prior movie; otherwise a large part of this won't have the emotion impact it requires. The movie stands on its own, but just barely. The back-story of the prior episodes are essential to understanding the real point and nature of this film.

This has consistently been one of my favorite stories... and to be honest I'm not really sure why. But the character of Violet is about as complex as I've seen in any anime. The total contrast in goofball supporting characters makes Violet's unique and paradoxical personality stand out even more.

I'm rating this 9 stars when considered along with the prior episodes and film. Without those, this would likely strike me as a more bland film. But with the background of the prior stories, this really hits home. The last quarter of the movie might be considered a bit much by some viewers, or a perfect ending by others. Overall, the series as a whole is unique, creative, and emotionally fulfilling.
